What is Bump Steer?

Bump steer is when your car steers on its own due to the suspension being at an inappropriate angle, or the steering linkages being at an inappropriate angle to the chassis.

How do we fix this?

Our steering wheel linkage adapter allows you to lower your car without running into bump-steer issues. When the car is lowered, the OEM steering wheel linkages are no longer straight, but are now at an angle going upwards towards the wheels. This creates bumpsteer. Our solution is to lower the ball-joint, which brings the steering linkage back to being parallel to the ground, abolishing any bump-steer possibilities.
